As promised, our finished gingerbread house (a big thanks again to A&J Bakery for sending us one of their fantastic allergy friendly gingerbread house kits to assemble, decorate and share!). I did the assembly and my 10 year old son was in charge of decoration. It was a lot of fun and easy to do!

I feel like such a slacker mom, I've never done a gingerbread house, and I KNOW my son would love it. Maybe this year...
What fun! I keep thinking that one day I'm going to bake up my own gingerbread, but it never happens.
