The leaves are finally beginning to fall here and temperatures are dropping. The morning weather is crisp and the lines on my hands are becoming more visible as they do each autumn. Time to buy more moisturizer and lotion! This year, I am planning to try some products from Gluten-Free Savonnerie or Dakota Free. I found them online in the spring and now's the perfect time for new skin care products. No, this is not a paid advertisement--I just think their products sound interesting and thought you might agree!
Gluten-Free Savonnerie and its sister store Dakota Free are especially food allergy friendly companies. Did you know that the Gluten-Free Savonnerie line was created specifically for individuals with "allergies to plant materials, sensitive skin and people with Celiac disease/Gluten intolerance"? In addition, all of the Gluten-Free Savonnerie products are gluten-free, casein-free, fragrance-free, soy-free, corn-free, dye-free, peanut-free and tree nut-free--except coconut oil and shea butter--and are manufactured in a "facility that does not process or package any products that contain peanuts or peanut derivatives." That's pretty impressive!
The makers of Gluten-Free Savonnerie have another line called Dakota Free. These products are also very allergy friendly. In fact, they are free of so many of the usual substances, I am not even going to try to list them all here. They are, for example, gluten-free, latex-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free and casein-free, to name a few. I noticed they even sell allergen-free laundry detergent. Another positive attribute of Dakota Free is that they provide full disclosure of all their ingredients. There are no scary mystery chemicals here.
Some of you may already be fans of Gluten-Free Savonnerie or Dakota Free products. If so, please send in a comment and tell us which products you've tried, what you think about them, and any specific products you'd like to recommend. Thanks for sharing!
