"Peanut-Free" Baseball in Vermont

I just received word from MaryKay Hill of the Vermont Food Allergy Organization (VTFAO) that there is a "peanut-free" section at the Vermont Lake Monsters game on Sunday, July 27.  In fact, the Vermont Lake Monsters have done this for the last 3 years!

MaryKay says "This has been a popular event for families of children with peanut/nut allergies.  We also remind attending families to take into consideration the other food allergens.  Families are allowed to bring their own food to accommodate their child.  Our section is cleaned thoroughly before hand by the Lake Monsters staff and roped off with signage.  It is also located near Emergency Medical Services."

A big thank you  to MaryKay, her colleagues at the Vermont Food Allergy Organization, and the Vermont Lake Monsters.  It just keeps getting better and better!  Think of all those happy peanut allergic baseball fans!
