October is National Eczema Awareness Month

Did you know October is National Eczema Awareness Month?

Eczema is something we think about every day in my house, and my son's eczema is only mild to moderate. Eczema is something many food allergic individuals and families contend with, but I don't hear it talked about very much in the online food allergy community. Maybe it's because it's just one of a bunch of things so many of us in the food allergy community must deal with--multiple food allergies, asthma, etc?

Please take a moment to visit the National Eczema Association's website and check out the resources and information available there. You may wish to sign up for their newsletter or e-insights too! NEA will help keep you informed about new skin products being developed for eczema and the latest research.

Hi! Yeah for National Eczema Awareness Month! We're in Canada and we celebrate it in Nov. Regardless, I'm so happy to help spread the word. My son had severe eczema until we determined it was caused by food allergies.
I came across your site on the Circle of Mom's top 25 Food Allergy Mom Blogs. It's given me the idea to start a blog hop for allergies, asthma and eczema - parents or adults dealing with the condition. Please check out the page here and add a comment if you'd like to join. Thanks!

My 3-year-old son had severe eczema until he was diagnosed with food allergies a few months back. I have a blog that shares our family’s battles with eczema, allergies, and asthma (yes, lucky guy has that too).

I think the key is to learn from one another, so the more information out there to the masses, the better. With this in mind I’ve started a blog hop for anyone dealing with allergies, eczema, or asthma, either for themselves or as a caregiver. If you’re interested in joining, please add a comment. I’d love to welcome you to the group. http://itchylittleworld.wordpress.com/blog-hop/

Thanks.
